Cars give me allergy!

How many times have we heard that urban traffic is allergic to someone? In these cases, the word allergy means that someone is bothered by circulation. However, according to researchers, it is true that car smoke increases allergy, so the literal reading is also correct.

Researchers knew that there was a direct relationship between urban pollution and allergy. Now, thanks to research conducted in the German city of Munich, they have discovered how they affect you. It seems that the protein molecules in the air are more harmful from the gases emitted by cars.

About 5% of the particles in the air are proteins, some of which are allergenic, that is, they can produce allergy. However, these proteins become more allergenic when reacting with car gases, and some non-allergens become harmful after the reaction.

It seems that the responsible is the nitrogen dioxide and ozone mixture emitted by cars. The mixture reacts with protein molecules present in the air and the nitrate group binds to the protein. Therefore, the allergic reaction produced by the protein is more violent than before.

They still do not know very clearly why the allergic response increases by nitrate effect, but it seems that protein tyrosine is associated with the amino acid and that antibodies produce against this area. However, this is not the only explanation about the allergenic capacity of proteins, since other factors such as the shape or shape of these proteins must be taken into account.
