Challenge: Prototypes of greenhouses that do not require the use of drinking water will be designed. We will begin experimenting with underwater crops, with vases inside the bells submerged in a bucket of marine water, and these trials
we will analyze efficiency. We try different plant species: lentils, arugula and parsley. The final design is a model that would be close to the coast and that would provide seawater to a covered “pool” that would have cultivation platforms.
Notes for teachers: This project, which has four years of existence, has presented each year different prototypes at scientific fairs to collect the notes of judges and continue to improve.
