Superconductivity is the phenomenon discovered by Kamerlingh Onnes in Leyden (Holland) in 1911, when he discovered that the electrical resistance of mercury disappeared and thus the energy dissipation. Many materials present this property near the absolute zero, i.e., -273ºC. Absolute zero is the origin point of Kelvin's request (K). Therefore, the temperature of 30ºC is 303K at absolute scale.
