Proven existence of tau neutrinos

On July 21, a group of researchers from the Fermi National Accelerator obtained direct evidence of the existence of tau neutrino through an experiment. The existence of this type of neutrino is the first time that it is directly demonstrated and the results obtained have been those expected, that is, the tau neutrino acts as believed. Neutrinos are subatomic particles of very small mass and neutral electrical charge, so they are very difficult to detect. So far two other types of neutrinos were known, the electroneutrino and the muon-neutrino.
