Passive smoking and lung cancer

It is known that among tobacco smokers, lung cancer has an easy path, but can you say the same to those living around smokers?

In surveys conducted in the US, Europe and Asia, the risk of lung cancer has been measured in women who have never smoked and live among smokers.

Cases that met the condition prior to 2,699 cancer were 18%.

The same measurement was made, but among men who did not smoke and the woman smoked. The results obtained here put the risk at 40%.

However, according to other surveys, contradictory results are obtained, for example, with negative risk.

Some say that the non-smoker gene develops among those who do not smoke and that this natural defense prevents lung cancer.
