Paleoentomology and amber have a magazine

Alavesia is the first international journal dedicated to the study of paleoentomology, the inclusions of amber and fossil arthropods of the continents. It is prepared by the International Palaeoentomological Society (IPS) and directed from Alava: Coordinated by the Natural Sciences Museum of Vitoria-Gasteiz and edited by the Diputación Foral de Álava. It will be published once a year in English and the articles will be written by researchers from around the world. The 2007 number is already on the street. The name of Alavesia is due to a genus of insects located in the deposits of amber of Peñacerrada.
