Physicists at the National Institute of Standar and Technology in the United States have developed the most accurate timepiece found. The Quantum Logic watch defines the second according to the vibration of an aluminum ion.
Conventional atomic clocks display a one-second gap every 30,000 years. The Quantum Logic watch would have this gap every 3.7 billion years. Therefore, it is possible that this clock will become a reference measuring time and that the usual atomic clocks move.
