The World Health Organization has adopted the guidelines for sexual and gender equity SAGER in the field of research. Guidelines define good practices for gender and gender, from research design and data collection to research publication. In fact, it is known that many research topics influence both sex and gender, but too often they are not taken into account, and this error is particularly harmful to women.

The decision has been applauded by a number of organisations that are convinced that this will help to ensure that the SAGER guidelines are taken up by other organisations, and they regard it as a very important step towards sexual and gender rights.
