Who is that mirror?

Have you ever thought that before going to work or school you look in the mirror and may not know yourself? According to studies so far, the right hemisphere of the brain seems to be responsible for knowing our own image, and a recent experiment in Israel confirms this theory.

To carry out the experiment, five patients were selected to be cut in the head for epilepsy problems. First they were made to sleep the hemisphere on one side for three minutes and then the other. With a sleeping side, on the computer they were taught the image of a known character that gradually became the face of the sick.

Researchers observed that the left hemisphere was able to recognize itself when patients slept. However, when they slept on the right, the left could only know the photo of the character.
