Carcinogens in solar creams

One component is urochic acid in creams or protective ointments of sunlight. This causes some types of skin cancer.

One ingredient is urochic acid in some skin creams or ointments that people use to protect themselves from sunlight (especially in summer, on beaches). An organization for the protection of North American consumers claims that this acid produces certain types of skin cancer and calls on the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to prohibit and remove from its market creams and ointments containing urochic acid.
