The La Mancha tunnel project progresses. Meanwhile, the well-known "Science Museum" in London wants to recover the instrumentation used in previous projects for the tunnelling industry. What we have in the image is the rolling machine used in the project started in 1923. This machine has been abandoned on some cliffs in the Dover area.
The machine was designed by engineer Douglas Whitaker and in 1923 drilled 146 meters before the project was abandoned.
Currently, the "Science Museum" wants to renew the machine to witness one of its classrooms.
