Industrack, ready to take off

Recently, a simpler Magnetic Levitation (Maggi) system has been created in California to move trains. Magnetic levitation is a technique to lift the trains from the ground by means of electromagnets, which has already begun to develop in many villages.

The "Indutrack" system created in California does not use permanent electromagnets but a new linear motor.

This system eliminates the friction between the train and the railroad and allows to reach very high speeds without great energy costs. However, the “Indutrack” system created in California does not use permanent electromagnets but a new linear motor.

In this way, the use of expensive superconductors and complex feeding circuits is avoided. The Indutrack vehicle has wheels but the permanent magnets installed at the bottom of the vehicle just start moving create electric currents in closed circuits located on the track, which create a powerful magnetic field that makes the vehicle rise. This system is much simpler than the system so far and in addition no other energy source is needed to move the electromagnets.
