Wind energy

From today until 2010 Sweden will close its 12 nuclear power plants in operation. While hydraulic power will be the main source of energy, a special effort will be made in the field of wind energy.

Currently they have 22 wind stations installed, but throughout 1990 a new area will be built on the Baltic coast. On the other hand, two wind power plants are being tested in Scania and Gotland. The power of these power plants is 3,000 kW, although most of the existing wind stations are 20-200 kW.
