Wind Dam

Basque companies Enerlim and NECESA have developed a wind dam, a new wind turbine, which has been built by the Alava promoter Ecowind in the Losa valley of Burgos. The installation will annually produce 281.176 kWh of energy due to the wind speed existing in the area. 80 homes to cover your energy needs.

These machines are much lighter, cheaper and simple to manufacture and install than conventional three-arm turbines, since their installation does not require trucks, special roads or giant cranes, since the machine is fully modular and the parts are not large.

Consequently, the drivers of this system consider that the environmental impact of the wind dam is low. It is also not harmful to birds, since the maximum speed of the shovels is 40 km/h, so birds can easily avoid them.
