IBM has first developed an integrated graphene circuit. The circuit is very simple, only one graphene transistor and two inductors, but it is difficult to integrate these components into a single chip. The biggest challenge has been to stick graphene to the base of the chip. To achieve this, graphene has been synthesized through the desorption of carbon atoms from a silicon carbide sheet, that is, the material that forms the basis of the chip itself has been the raw material for its processing. In addition to the synthesis technique used, the realization of this integrated circuit represents a great advance, since this material, which has generated great expectations --graphenes- has jumped from the laboratory of physicists to a factory of engineers.
