Research conducted by Envi-ronmental Defense Found in New York on the East Coast of the United States indicated that only 25% of the amount of nitrogen in its waters could be deposited in the form of acid by air, while the latter currently limit to 34%.
When the amount of nitrogen increases greatly, algae present in the water multiply by breaking all balances. This can lead to the death of fish and plants. Therefore, in order to rule out this problem it is estimated that the dumping of substances NO x should be reduced by 10 million tons in the next decade.
