Russia's largest business

Some of the satellites sent to space in recent years have been sent through the Russian company ILS (International Launch Services). This company offers telecommunications companies in advanced countries the possibility of launching low-priced satellites, as launches are made through the former Proton rockets of the former Soviet Union.

Proton rockets were initially designed as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, but are currently getting good results to launch heavy objects into space. This business is one of Russia's top revenue, as customers must pay $100 million for each launch. In compensation they have the right to go to the famous cosmodrome Baiconur to see the launch by plane, despite the obstacles and administrative problems of the Russian bureaucracy.
