Little money in the US for industrial research

In a report published by the U.S. Minister of Science, the amount destined for industrial research is low. After the analysis of various sources of information, it is observed that industrial research on Gross Domestic Product has not experienced any growth, which can cause serious consequences in the future.

To address this risk, the Minister requests that the money that the Government spends on defense and be transferred to industrial development be reduced.

The following table shows the expenditure in 1989 of the richest states in the world (R&D) in percentage with respect to GDP.
