The Hotzin, a bird that inhabits the Venezuelan tropical forest, can be the most curious discovery of recent years. Researchers at Cornell University claim that its appearance is punky and that it was born 25 million years ago. Although what has been said so far can be described as normal, the biggest surprise was found when analyzing the digestive system of the cold: according to the researchers, this small bird of 30 cm in length can belong to the same family of ruminants.
Wherever Hotzin lives, in the humid forests of Venezuela, poisonous plants are found everywhere. Perishable plants for other animals is an ideal food for chills. Its digestive system makes fermentation tank, destroying and absorbing substances from lethal plants.
In 1989, Cornell University biologists initiated cold research and the most notable consequence is its link to ruminants.
