People who like astronomy and explore the sky with telescopes will be able to detect numerous comets this year. Until March you can see West-Kohoutet-Ikemura, reaching its maximum magnitude up to 11.1. At the same time the comet Encke has an approximate magnitude of 7 (it can be seen even with binoculars).
The Schwassmann-Wachmann comet will be visible until May with a magnitude of 11.5. Tempel 1 will be available from February to October, with a magnitude of 9.5 in spring.
From the summer until the end of the year we will have three more kites: Harrington (magnitude 12.7), Brooks 2 (magnitude 12.7 too) and Borrely (magnitude 8).
In addition to these, new kites may also appear.
