As in many species of spider, the Schizocosa Uetzi Males run the risk of becoming the female's snack when copulating. Males of this species, however, have a quicker sexual development than females and begin to exhibit before their arrival.
Later, by sexually maturing the females, they are easier to admit the males they had seen at the time of the ‘teens’ or who are similar to them. Moreover, unknown males eat them more often than known.
