Instead of emitting coherent light (such as the laser), physicists at Yale University have developed a device that absorbs coherent, anti-aging light. The team published last summer the theoretical basis of the idea, and now they have made the device. They fork the laser beam and direct both rays in the opposite direction to the same area. In this area there is destructive interference between two rays and light is absorbed. Transforms the absorbed energy into heat or electricity. It is, in short, a tool that eliminates a laser beam, so you can have many applications as filter or protector.
