The American Association for the Development of Science (AAAS) has presented a striking video at this year's meeting. In just one minute, the video collects images of the evolution of the Arctic in a period of 25 years. Satellite images show that Arctic ice is getting younger and is losing ground, as every year it is more difficult to recover what is lost in summer in winter. It is estimated that the ice-covered surface of at least 4 years has gone from 26% to 7% in the last 25 years.
