Mercury, the smallest planet in the solar system, is becoming smaller, according to the Messenger probe as it passes two hundred kilometers from the planet. According to their measurements, the diameter of Mercury has been reduced by 1.5 kilometers, a third more than scientists thought. Scientists have explained that the decline is occurring due to the progressive cooling of the planet's core.
