At the close of COVID-19, preschool children who practiced medium or intense physical activity for at least one hour a day feel less embarrassment, fears, phobias, sadness or concerns than those who made a sedentary life. Yesenia García Alonso deduced this in his doctoral thesis defended by the graduate of Teaching in Child Education at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA).

The thesis entitled “Physical condition, indicators of body composition and components of physical activity in Spanish schoolchildren” aimed to analyze the relationship between physical status and some healthy habits of students in the Infant Education stage. The author has determined that these behaviors, including physical exercise, are linked to the behavior of the mother, with whom they usually spend more time outside school.
