They have recently discovered in Kenya several traces of their direct ancestor, the Homo erectus. Researchers at the Bournemouth University of the United Kingdom have found that human beings developed great feet and similar to current humans, with a similar trajectory to ours.

The researchers scanned and digitized these footprints of 1.5 million years to know, among other things, the length, weight and trajectory of those ancestors.

Human ancestors can circulate vertically for at least six million years. However, until now it was not very clear when they developed the ability to walk upright and as current human beings, and when they abandoned the primitive march.
