The northeastern coast of Alaska is eroding very quickly
01/04/2009 | Elhuyar

According to a study published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, on the north-eastern coast of Alaska the effect of erosion has accelerated. The calculation of erosion can be made from ancient aerial photographs of local researchers from Alaska. According to these calculations, in the last 52 years the wear speed has doubled. According to the researchers, the sediments of the coast are retained only by ice, so they are so sensitive to climate change.
