Powerful programs require large RAM. Our PC-XT and Macintosh have a RAM of 256Kb at 1024Kb. Until recently, at least in the field of Macintosh, it was difficult or expensive to find boards to expand RAM. But in the last six months the situation has changed a lot. Prices have dropped a lot. We can give a data: If the cost of 2 Mb plates purchased in November 1989 was 65,000 pesetas, in March 1990 it is 20,000 pesetas (for Macintosh Plus and SE).
