Lemur receives medicinal plants

It seems that a type of rudder called sifaka takes medicinal plants before birth. According to researchers at the University of Kyoto, pregnant females consume more plants with poisonous tannins than the rest of females and males. On the other hand, low concentrations of tannins decrease the risk of abortion and increase milk production, with which work in veterinary. Therefore, these plants can also have a positive effect on these lemures.
