According to University of London geophysicists, African glaciers are melting faster and faster. In particular, Rwenzori has focused on the mountains. These mountains lie between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, whose glaciers are at least 300,000 years old.

The London team has spent years studying these glaciers and losing the XIX. Although it began at the end of the 20th century, in recent years it is believed that global warming has accelerated.
